Welcome to Field Notes, our corner of the website where we share the stories, inspiration, and real outdoor moments behind Wandering Designs.

Wandering Designs began with a simple love for being outside. From quiet trails and mountain views to unexpected wildlife encounters and scenic backroads, so many of our favorite moments happen out in the world around us. Over time, those experiences started becoming more than memories. They became the inspiration for the art and designs we create.

Some pieces begin as photographs from our family’s outdoor adventures. Others are transformed into whimsical artwork, stylized designs, or creative products that capture the feeling of a place, a season, or a moment. Whether it is a scenic landscape, a curious animal, or a design with a little extra personality, each one starts with something real.

That is what Field Notes is all about.
